ABSTRACT

Azat Ilyasovna Shibanova – a veteran of Kazakhstan’s oncology service, the founder of the Clinical Cytology discipline in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honorary President of the Association of Clinical Cytologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Member of the International Academy of Cytology, the founder of the Association of Clinical Cytologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During her career, she trained a whole galaxy of cytologists and cytotechnicians currently working across Kazakhstan.
